Terms And Conditions of booking with Irish Cottages

Irish Cottages - Terms and Conditions of Your Stay

Irish Cottages welcomes all our visitors.  We make enormous effort to make your visit as luxurious and enjoyable as possible.  Our terms and conditions are designed to ensure that the stay of all our visitors is as luxurious and enjoyable as possible.  Our terms and conditions include:

1.    If booking less than 6 months (24 weeks) in advance the full booking tariff is payable.

2.    If booking more than 6 months (24 weeks) in advance a non refundable deposit of £200 per booking (or per week if booking more than 1 week) for each cottage booked is payable.  The balance of the tariff is payable twelve weeks before the arrival date

3.    A security deposit imprint of £300 for each cottage booked is payable on credit or debit card before or on arrival.  This will be cancelled on your card within ten days of departure so long as we are satisfied that our property has not been damaged, we have not incurred excess cleaning costs and you have not broken our terms and conditions.  We reserve the right to debit the credit/debit card without notice for the full cost of repair if visitors cause damage to our property

4.    Cancellation must be in writing.  Cancellation charges apply:

24 weeks before date of arrival£200 booking deposit
Less than 24 weeks before date of arrival100% of total tariff or £200, whichever is the greater

 

5.    We strongly recommend visitors obtain holiday insurance that covers cancellation charges

6.    The cottage is available as from 1600 on the day of arrival until 1000 on the day of departure, or as otherwise agreed in writing

7.    Only those visitors listed on the booking form may stay at the cottage.  Your day visitors are welcome but must not stay overnight.  Our insurers do not permit overcrowding of the cottage.  If you overcrowd the cottage, we will ask you to leave

8.    Our towels are not to be removed from the cottage.  Please bring your own towels for hot tub and outside use

9.    Pets are not permitted under any circumstances, except working guide dogs

10.   Smoking is strictly prohibited. If you smoke in the cottage, we will ask you to leave

11.   We reserve the right to enter the cottage at all reasonable times to inspect or repair during your visit

12.   To maintain the tranquility of the area for all our visitors, jet-skis are not permitted from our shore

13.   To ensure the luxury and enjoyment of our cottages by all our visitors we trust you will treat your cottage as your own home.  Please leave the cottage clean and tidy on departure or an excess cleaning charge will apply

14.   No responsibility is taken by us for the loss of your valuables or your property whilst you are visiting Irish Cottages

15.   If you abuse our staff, we will ask you to leave immediately

16.   A reservation, a booking and an online booking once confirmed by Irish Cottages constitute a legal contract

Our terms and conditions will be updated from time to time and the terms and conditions in force during your stay will apply
